What does the auto-calculating character sheet do?

You enter your ability scores (Strength, Dex, Con, Int, Wis, Cha), pick your level, class, race, and check off your skill proficiencies. The sheet computes the rest:

• Ability modifiers (the "+3 from Strength 16" math)
• Proficiency bonus from level
• Saving throw bonuses for each ability
• All 18 skill bonuses with proficiency and expertise applied
• Attack rolls and damage for equipped weapons
• Spell save DC and spell attack bonus

When you roll, the modifier is already baked in. No calculator at the table.

Does it save my character if I close the tab?

Yes. Character data lives in your browser's local storage. Closing the tab, restarting your laptop, sleeping your phone: all safe. The catch is that clearing your browser cache or switching browsers wipes the data, since it never leaves your device. If you want a backup, export the character as JSON from the sheet.

What about feats, spells, and inventory?

All built in. The sheet has a feats picker, a searchable spell list with prepared/known toggles, and an inventory section with equipped-item bonuses. Spell slots and uses-per-day refresh on long rest. Items with ability score bonuses apply to skill checks automatically.
