A shared dice roller is a tool where multiple players see each other's dice rolls in real time, in the same browser session. Instead of each player rolling their own physical dice and announcing the number (or worse, an app that only shows the roll on the roller's screen), every roll appears in a shared history that everyone in the room sees. That matters for tables where players are not all in the same room, or where roll integrity matters.
How do I share dice rolls with my D&D group?
Three steps:
- Open dicednd.com. Pick a character name and a room name.
- Copy the URL of the room (it has your room name in it).
- Send the URL to your group via Discord, text, whatever. As each player opens it and picks their own character name, they join the room.
Every roll any player makes shows up in the shared history immediately, with who rolled it and the breakdown (modifier, advantage, critical, etc).
Do all players need to make an account?
